Escape Room Asheville Directions

Breakout Games - Asheville is located in the heart of downtown on Patton Ave, adjacent to Pritchard Park (which you may know for its famed drum circle on Friday nights!). If you’re coming in from the West, simply take Patton Ave into town. If you’re coming from the East, take I-240 to exit 4C, turn left onto Montford Ave, and then left again onto Haywood St, which will take you directly to the store. From the North, take Merrimon Ave down and turn left onto N Lexington. Continue until College St, take a right, then pass the park and take a left on Patton. Breakout will be on the right. From the South, head up 25 (Hendersonville Rd, then McDowell St), veer left to continue north onto Asheland Ave, then turn right at Patton. Breakout is on the right.

While these directions take you to the store, there is no parking at our Breakout Asheville location. We highly advise leaving extra time to find parking/walk over, especially during busy weekend days and evenings. There are several parking decks nearby, including Wall Street, Civic Center, and Rankin Ave. Also, please note that street parking is free on Sundays and in the evenings, though these spots tend to go fast on weekends.

A few of our favorite restaurants include The Laughing Seed Cafe (vegetarian), Farm Burger, Kathmandhu Cafe (Indian/Nepalese), Jerusalem Garden Cafe (Mediterranean), Wasabi (Japanese and Sushi), Salsa’s (Caribbean), Blue Dream Curry House, and Tupelo Honey Cafe (Southern Comfort). Several great bars are very close as well for post-escape room celebratory drinks! Foggy Mountain Brew Pub is right around the corner on Church Street and has great food too. The Thirsty Monk is just down Patton on the left. Across the street resides the Jack of the Wood pub. If you’re looking for nice views, check out SkyBAR or the Grove Park Inn. Asheville also has a booming brewery scene located on the South Slope section of town. Also, if you’re seeking live music, Asheville has many great venues to choose from, including The Orange Peel, Asheville Music Hall, Tressa’s, and Ellington Underground. And this is just a handful of the places to check out within walking distance of Breakout Asheville! A short 10-minute drive can take you to famous restaurants like 12 Bones (BBQ) and exciting music venues like Isis Music Hall, Salvage Station, and the Grey Eagle. Like I said, an evening is Asheville is sure to be a blast, especially if you kick it off with an escape room at Breakout!
