What Are Our Escape Room Age Requirements?

The good news is that our escape rooms are designed to be enjoyed by a wide range of players! However, there are a few age-related guidelines to keep in mind when planning your visit. Let's break down our age requirements so you and your group can have the best possible experience.

At Breakout Games, players ages 7 and under can participate for free! This makes escape rooms a fun option for families looking to enjoy an adventure together.

While younger players don't count toward your room's player total, it's important to keep the size of your group in mind. We recommend a maximum of eight players per room to ensure everyone has enough space to participate and enjoy the experience. Even though younger children don't count toward this total, they still take up space in the room, so be sure to consider your entire group when making a reservation.

Players ages 14 and under must have an adult in the room with them during the game. This helps ensure younger players have the supervision they need while solving puzzles, finding clues, and working together as a team.

The required adult does not count toward the maximum player total for the room. That means you can bring an adult along to supervise younger players without worrying about them affecting your group's total headcount.

Before playing, all minors must have a waiver completed on their behalf by an adult. Be sure to take care of this requirement before your game so your group can focus on what matters most: solving puzzles, working together, and having fun!
