At Breakout, the questions we get asked the most are related to escape rooms and kids. Can kids play escape rooms? Are there age limits?
In this post, we’ll answer our frequently asked questions about escape room age requirements.
At Breakout Games, we absolutely welcome kids to play our escape rooms. At the majority of our locations, kids 14 and older can play our rooms without an adult present in the room with them. Kids 13 and younger will need to have at least one person who is 18 or older playing with them. All players will be counted as participants and will need to pay for their tickets.
Kids 7 and younger are not considered participants and can be in the room for free. Participants are also welcome to bring infants, as long as they remain supervised throughout the duration of their escape room.
All players under 18 will require a waiver to be signed by a parent or guardian. Our waivers can be filled out online ahead of time. When you book your game with us, you will be sent an electronic waiver to fill out.
