How to Choose an Escape Room Theme

You’re ready to play an escape room. You’ve gathered your group, and you’ve picked a date. But now, which room should you choose? 

With so many escape room themes to choose from, it can be hard to decide on one to play. But we’ve got some tips that can help you narrow down your choices.

We recommend choosing a room that your group has similar interests around. Maybe you love murder mysteries, so you could consider choosing CLUE. Or maybe you love western movies, so you could consider choosing Wild West. Pick something that you think you could get the most immersed in. 

When and why are you visiting an escape room? Maybe you’re coming around Halloween, so you might want to choose something like Mystery Mansion or The Kidnapping.

Several escape rooms rate their rooms by difficulty. You can pick a room based on how much your group wants to be challenged.
